Proximo 3 at Nordic Summit 2022
Wow, what a weekend at Nordic Summit 2022! Set in the beautiful Hotel At Six, the event was packed full of sponsor stands, speaking rooms, and of course, the community.
Upon arrival, everyone was given a lanyard where you could write your name and add stickers such as flags, emojis, and Microsoft icons – I think everyone had good fun with this! Each stand had lots of goodies for people to pick from which allowed people to conversate with those behind the stands too.
Our stand was noticeable with a bright red tablecloth, logo, and the large amount of merch up for grabs. Hopefully, you all enjoyed your mugs, trolley keys, notepads, and pens! Well done to Iona Varga on winning our mystery prize – an Azure backpack full of Proximo 3 and Microsoft goodies!
The keynote kicked off at 8:30 and it was full of energy and fun which set the mood for the rest of the day. Sessions ran all day across a broad range of topics, meaning there was something for everyone. I enjoyed Megan Walkers session about how to get the most out of D365 Marketing. As a digital marketing apprentice trying to navigate D365 Marketing, this session was ideal for me, and I picked up a couple of tips and tricks.
When lunchtime rolled around, everyone was served a delicious noodle and meatball dish which seemed to be very popular with everyone. Later, this was followed by Fika which was equally as tasty.
The team at Proximo 3 took part in many sessions at the event. Iain Connolly joined a panel with other community members to discuss ‘ISV business solutions: BizApps products versus accelerators.’
Andrew Bibby also partook in a panel with community members to discuss ‘How can you have successful projects’ which mentioned all the dos and don’ts when working on projects. He also ran his own session in the afternoon called ‘How I learned to stop worrying and love Dynamics 365 projects’ where he discussed the success criteria and strategies that he found helpful when running big projects.
Here’s what Andrew had to say about the event: “Nordic Summit has become one of my favourite Power Platform conferences. There is such a buzz on the day and an amazing line-up of speakers. You get to meet a lot of people we don’t normally see at UK events and of course, catch up with friends too. And Stockholm is one of my favourite European cities! The Nordic Summit organisers did an incredible job and thought of every detail. I’m looking forward to Nordic Summit 2023 already!”
Finally, Mark Christie discussed everything to do with Solution Architects such as job roles, expectations and more in his session called ‘So you want to be a solution architect?’
The fantastic event was then brought to a close by an interactive game show hosted by Sara Lagerquist and Proximo 3’s Andrew Bibby! From everyone at Proximo 3, thank you to everyone involved in organising Nordic Summit 2022.
